Changing History
If I had the chance to time travel to any historical event, I would have to choose making the 2011 NHL playoffs go to the Vancouver Canucks over the Boston Bruins. If the Canucks would have won, it would have made the anxious fans of downtown Vancouver not be so angry, and therefor not cause riots. This would have saved the city of Vancouver millions of dollars, and a world of embarrassment for the city. It would all start with game three when the series went to Boston. Roberto Luongo had a horrible road record in Boston, and Cory Schneider is from Boston and had a much better record. As you are aware in game three the Canucks lost 8-1. Luongo got lit up, as I predicted So if I could change who started in net that night, I would have chose Schneider. If things would go as planned the Canucks would have won the game 8-1 and swept the series. This would have resulted in happiness in downtown Vancouver and all over BC. The once angry rioters in the downtown of Vancouver would be celebrating instead of rioting. This would save the rep of Vancouver and Canada and also save millions of dollars for the province and city. The Canucks would also need to fine a way to put some pucks in the net by winning all these games in a row. So I would bring back Wayne Gretzky in his prime and magically sign Sidney Crosby to the Canucks. They would get 100 goals in 4 games, so the people would have nothing to complain about. Nothing but happy citizens. This concludes how I would change a bit of history.
